Right so I’ve had a corsair HS35 for like the past two years, cheapest of the bunch and I’ve been very happy with it. so recently I was thinking about getting an upgrade and I came across the corsair void elite headset. My god it was absolute dog shite, couldn’t be worse, so uncomfortable, audio quality was so washed out and it just felt flimsy construction wise.So I decided to send the headset back and buy this one on the amazon prime day on finance for £20 a month. If I didn’t make this decision then I probably would’ve left corsair for good.This headset is absolutely fantastic, audio quality is top notch coming from someone that adores good audio. most comfortable by a country mile and its also a lot lighter than I expected being wireless with batteries.To my surprise the mic on this thing is better than my dedicated Tonor microphone! All my discord mates appreciate the mic on this headset a lot more than my proper one. And of course you have the mic flip-up mute feature that I use profusely.All in all I will probably be using this thing for many years to come and I hope you do too.

I purchased the Corsair HS80 RGB Over Ear Headset for my PS5, and it has been fantastic. The sound quality is amazing, the battery life is solid, and the fit is both great and comfortable for long gaming sessions, mic is good, volume controll is easy. The only downside is that the RGB lighting can only be color-changed via a PC, so when using it with the PS5, you’re stuck with the default color. However, this is not a deal breaker by any means. Overall, it’s an excellent headset for PS5 users!

I’ll be transparent, I did buy this headset more for the mic quality than the audio quality. The drivers are pretty far from accurate. I bought a £50 pair of Linsoul earbuds (on sale for £30 by the way) that are much better quality, even after some EQ tuning. But the microphone itself is shockingly good. It’s about as close to condenser quality as you can get without being a condenser mic, and it’s wireless!! Outside of those two things, I do have some other problems. Battery life is pretty sad, it will require charging every day if you’re actively using it. The build quality is also classic corsair. The padding on the floating headband, while comfortable, is shedding its light grey flakes into my hair, and the fabric of one of the earcups completely removed itself from the foam in a matter of months. I bought replacement cushions from WC freeze which are much better. I’d probably not recommend this headset given these issues, but I do still think it’s very good.

Sidetone simply does not work as it should. Nowhere near loud enough and after emailing them they treat you like you don’t know what you’re doing. Believe me I do as I work in the film industry. And a big part of that is the technical aspects. So I know when something isn’t working properly – yes the volume slider is up…… Beware potential buyers who want sidetone. Just buy a good set of analogue phones and I highly recommend the Yamaha AG03 external mixer which literally has everything you need including the ability to monitor your own voice properly, has inputs for other things, is also a high quality USB soundcard and affordable.

Sound is great (they come with lifetime Dolby Atmos for Windows). Mic is the best there is on any headset, let alone just wireless. Extremely comfortable and they look great. Battery lasts long enough for me and the charge pretty quickly. If you have a larger head, they might not be ideal, they’ll be great for most people though.

NO USB ADAPTER
headset works great plugged in. i bought a bluetooth adapter since i didnt have bluetooth on my pc. amazon lists that bluetooth is available on this device but once receiving it, i havent been able to connect it to any of my devices not even my phone. i have no received a USB adapter in the box nor am i able to find one on amazon.
