Having read numerous reviews and YouTube videos this monitor was high on my wish list, however I was in two minds about this QD-OLED model PG32UCDM or the WOLED model PG32UCDP.I’m not a competitive gamer so the 480 Hz mode on the UCDP was not a deciding factor but the purported raised blacks and higher reflections on the QD-OLED did concern me as my lighting cannot be perfectly controlled. I was however swayed by the more glossy display and supposedly better colours. In the end the decision was made for me as this was the only model in stock and Amazon had a great limited time offer which was too tempting to miss. All I can say is WOW! This is the best monitor I have ever used with absolutely no compromises.I have this running side by side with a Mini LED which has exceptional brightness so was concerned this would look dim by comparison but with the latest firmware update the colours are in another league (even in SDR) and I have not be left wanting with the brightness even in daylight conditions. I now use this as my main monitor throughout the day for productivity applications and whilst there are some reflections due to the glossy coating I hardly notice them. Build quality is excellent with no picture imperfections or dead pixels. Asus could improve on their setup instructions and offer a manual in the box as I needed to refer to unboxing videos on YouTube to ensure I constructed it correctly but had no issue in the end.If ever there was an issue I would replace this monitor with the exact same model in a heartbeat! Highly recommended if your budget can stretch.

This 32inch monitor is quite a big jump from my usual 27inch. The colours are deep and amazing. Build quality looks great, the stand looks very firm and strong enough to hold up the monitor. Assembly was quite simple with only a few steps. I will warn you though, the monitor stand is quite large, so take this into account as it may take up more space on your desk than you imagined. The brightness seems good, however due to it being winter and the days being short, a lack of sunlight means I can’t really tell how it’ll perform under sunny conditions.Overall I’d recommend this monitor if you like bigger sized screens.

MIgrated from a ASUS 42″ OLED to the 32″ QD-OLED, I was a tad concerned on the glossy screen; However I should not have been as the screen is a massive improvement on my previous OLED in almost everyway.I have not suffered from purple/blacks issue, but this might be because I have a ceiling light and no lights or windows behind me. (blacks are true black like my previous ASUS OLED).I also have not had any VRR issues yet, again likley due to fact that I use a 4090 and set most games to 120hz capped FPS when I have a lot of wide ranging FPS drops in games. (the main cause of VRR)I do wish it came with a controller like my older ASUS 42″ OLED did, but this is a small issue, apart from that for a sub 1000GBP monitor, it is by far the best value and quality monitor in its performance bracket bar none (in the UK its currently just under 1000GBP for this model the PG32UCDM, and it looks like the price will hold.)ps. one of the easiest monitors to setup, and settings out of the box need little to no changes (I only changed OLED care settings, and reduced brightness a little to my tastes for example.)TLDR: if you want one of the best QD OLED monitors on the market right now, get this one.

This monitor is really good, high quality, the glossy screen and picture quality is amazing and it really looks cool.

The colours and sharpness on this monitor are the best I have even seen. I had a good LCD monitor before this, but the PG32UCDM is in another league. The pixel response time is phenomenal (0.03ms) and beats anything that an LCD can manage by a huge margin. 240Hz refresh rate too…For gaming, it’s as good as it gets. However, in terms of functionality it’s not perfect – and in my opinion it should be perfect when paying over £1k.As an example: The monitor has a “proximity sensor” feature that dims the screen if you’re not in front of the monitor. This is an excellent feature because QDOLED panels degrade over time; brighter pixels degrade faster and the panels can suffer from “burn-in” if a static image is present for too long – especially if the image is bright. EXCEPT the proximity feature is disabled if you’re running the monitor in HDR mode, which you should be to get the most out of it.There are a whole bunch of features that disable when in HDR. Another example is the “Game mode visual” option. When in HDR, it sets to “Game mode racing” (at least on mine) and there’s no way to change that. The ASUS forums are utterly useless. People post issues on there and the only response from ASUS is “our technicians will look into it”. Same copy-paste for everything and no follow-up.The monitor came with firmware MCM103. I updated to MCM105 but more recent stock is shipping with 106. There’s no way to obtain 106 from the ASUS site. People have been asking on the forums for months but ASUS don’t respond.I’m still very pleased with this monitor, but it’s worth bearing in mind that ASUS support is bad and their RMA process in notoriously poor. We should expect better when paying a grand for a top-end monitor.Edit: So, they finally released firmware 108 and fixed the proximity issue and the lack of choices in HDR. Those were the gripes, so upgrading the review to 5 stars. It really is a very good monitor.
