   Well bought this after my daughter requested it for Christmas. She was interested in it for all of five minutes before saying that it would cut off and shut off half way through a game. This was after fully charging it. I requested a refund but Amazon would only return when it was received. I posted out of my own pocket (to Slovakia) which Amazon said they would refund. I never received a mailing label so have to go on customer service chat. A label was sent to me. I posted it off and tracked for 2 weeks. Today I got home to the item having been returned with ‘return, item refused’ on the packaging. Spent more time on a live chat with customer services who again requested a receipt of the postage, despite me having sent this 2 weeks before. They say that they have now issued a refund but I will believe it when I see it. Item was purchased November as a Christmas present. It is now February. Would have been quicker if they’d have acknowledged my return request much earlier and sent me the label without having to go through complaints procedure. I doubt i will ever buy electronic goods from Amazon anymore as I lack trust in where they come from and what happens if the item is faulty and needs returning again. Given one star as this was the option available as can’t leave no stars.

   I brought this for my wife who is a gamer ( going can’t to drag and game cubes) and she loved it. Apparently it brought back many memories of playing something similar in the late 80s or 90s

   IT’S DANGEROUS TO GO ALONE! TAKE THIS.
   I’m old enough to have played Legend of Zelda on the original NES system and it’s always been one of my favorite games. I still have my original NES and will occasionally fire it up for some retro gaming sessions, including playing LoZ. In fact, my late best friend’s saved game is still saved to the cartridge from back in the day.I recently became aware of this hand-held version and knew I needed to have it. It plays just like the NES version. While I wasn’t nearly as big a fan of the second game, it’s still nice to revisit it on the same device, as well as the Link’s Awakening.My favorite feature though, is the clock. You can watch the entire LoZ game playthrough while it boldly displays the time on the screen. At the top of the hour another dungeon is defeated and the ‘door unlocking’ chime plays. At noon and midnight you can watch Ganon get defeated and Link rescue Princess Zelda; then the game starts over with link entering the old man’s cave to claim the wooden sword and start the adventure all over again.It’s small enough that I can tuck it into a pocket and take it with me anywhere I go. I always look forward to wait times so I can play a little bit of the game. While at home, I keep it docked on a cell phone stand on my desk or nightstand and find myself just watching the clock as I drift off to sleep. This is the ultimate salute to LoZ nostalgia I’ve ever seen and I’m so glad I bought it.

Als langjähriger Zelda-Fan war es für mich eine Freude, dieses kleine Gerät in den Händen zu halten und in die Vergangenheit der Videospielwelt einzutauchen.Das Design des Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda ist eine liebevolle Hommage an die klassischen Game & Watch-Handhelds aus den 80er Jahren. Die Retro-Optik mit dem klappbaren Bildschirm und den traditionellen Steuerungstasten weckt sofort Erinnerungen an die Anfänge des mobilen Spielens. Die Konsole ist kompakt und tragbar, sodass ich sie leicht in meiner Tasche überallhin mitnehmen kann.Was dieses Gerät jedoch wirklich zu etwas Besonderem macht, sind die enthaltenen Spiele. Neben dem klassischen The Legend of Zelda-Spiel enthält es auch The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening und ein spezielles Game & Watch-Game mit Link als Hauptfigur. Diese Spiele bieten Stunden voller Unterhaltung und Nostalgie. Die Grafik und der Sound wurden sorgfältig überarbeitet, um den Charme der ursprünglichen Spiele zu bewahren und gleichzeitig eine angenehme Spielerfahrung zu bieten.Die Steuerung ist einfach und reaktionsschnell, was das Spielen unkompliziert und zugänglich macht. Die Bedienelemente sind angenehm zu verwenden, und die Knöpfe haben einen angenehmen Klick, der das Retro-Gefühl verstärkt.Ebenso begeistert hat mich die zusätzliche Uhr- und Weckerfunktion des Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda.    I’ve been had
   Wonderful console, full of nostalgia, especially if you never got around the Gameboy release of the Zelda franchise and would like a little more faithful version than the Nintendo Switch full remake. That said, I bought it with the understanding that it was on sale, but then it immediately got a price drop right after that was more than the ‘sale’ price I bought it for. Still worth the money, but pretty upsetting.
