Bought this mouse as a replacement for my 4+ year old DeathAdder V1 and I have been really impressed with all the new features. I can genuinely feel the difference between the new and old sensor and find that it has made my accuracy in games like Rainbow Six Siege ever so slightly better. It has also made daily tasks from browsing the internet to doing homework much more enjoyable as it feels much more snappy and responsive. On top of this, the new switches are a big step up from the original and feel more solid and premium, virtually eliminating the rattle that existed in my older model. The new thumb grip also feels a surprising amount more comfortable to use and works wonders in conjunction with the new glide pads that are much bigger and have a different, smoother material than in the DeathAdder V1.I was excited about the extra DPI buttons below the scroll wheel and unfortunately, while I’m sure they could come in handy at some point, I have found no use for them even after I reprogrammed them into usable keys. Macro enthusiasts could definitely find them handy though.Overall this is a solid mouse that I’m sure will last me as long as I need it to. 5/5

Summary: good value, premium feelings, light weightI previously used a CoolerMaster MM710 which is slightly lighter (-5g) and smaller in size. If you have small or medium hands you won’t be able to fingertip grip this Razer mouse. This Razer mouse has much better build quality than my MM710, there are no creaks when you pinch it on the sides. The 8K polling rate is not something I use, some people say it’s a good improvement over 1K Hz but I can’t really notice it too much playing CS2. The big downside is that when moving the mouse fast it uses up to 20% more of my CPU compared to 1K.The point where the cable attaches to the mouse is angle upwards so the cable won’t drag. The cable is very light and flexible so is not a hindrance. The surface is a smooth matte coating which is neither good or bad.The feet are very smooth and thick enough to have plenty of life in.The button clicks are not very loud and the scroll wheel is smooth but well defined. It doesn’t make an unpleasant sound.I would definitely recommend this mouse.

A very solid mouse with minimal bad points, the shape is closer to a standard ambidextrous mouse than the Dex, and the skates are very fast. The finish is premium, and the clicks feel a nice balance between snappy and soft. The dongle is different, but works perfectly, just needs to be on the desk to work at full 8k with no issues.

Outstanding quality that rivals the performance of the wireless version—at just a third of the price. Plus, the cable is so lightweight, it feels almost invisible.

This mouse is great value for money. It is one of the best performing mice I have used with a great ergonomic feel. After research it was clear that this mouse would be a perfect fit for me. I will be continuing to use Razer products in the near future.

Do you get what you pay for?Well. Exceptionally light, PTFE feet which are amazingly smooth.Battery lasts a long time and is easy to check % left in Razer software.Solid clicks and a superb wheel. For me, Razer has been hit and miss.Overall this is a hit – but is it worth the price? I’m on the fence on this one. Also, remember this is your guts only gaming mouse – it does game well, but you lack all the other options like RGB etc.

As the title says- it’s light- it’s right-handed and ergonomically shaped- it’s very responsive both on cable and with a supplied dongle- great PTFE feets- scrolling wheel is OK, rubbery but not the best and not weighted- two side buttons and the main ones are clicky and very responsive. No universally disliked hollowness on click.- rubber advesive stickers (four – left/right buttons, both body sides) are very grippy.[ ! ] You won’t be able to update firmware and set CPI on macOS, as Synapse won’t work. Use Windows VM (for firmware) or another PC (for Synapse) to set up.
